Background
When I was reached out to by The Other Art Fair Fair Manager to be featured at their Brooklyn exhibition, I pinched myself and couldn't believe that this was happening to me.
For years, as I have been on my paper flower-making journey, I've always had the idea that my flowers wouldn't be a substitute for or a competitor to fresh flowers, but rather a complement that people can use to decorate their homes as a piece of art.
When I started this collection, I pulled inspiration from vintage botanical illustrations. I loved the composition, the detail and the way they are displayed with a few flowers, with flower buds, and a bunch of leaves. I find that it captures all elements of a flower really well.
