Corporate teams in NYC are searching for fresh, creative activities to bring people together. Recently, we partnered with Netflix’s New York office to host a paper flower workshop — a unique blend of workplace wellness and hands-on creativity designed to spark joy and collaboration
We had a pleasure to host 30 Netflix NYC employees to make Paper Dahlia after the work hours for them to wind down and connect with their fellow colleagues through art.
We picked paper Dahlia because they are beginner-friendly, and since Netflix will have people from different teams joining. We want to make sure that everyone can join and is able to make the flower without any prior experience.
We set up at Netflix's office penthouse, accommodating with some charcuterie and cupcakes.
We've heard that our class was waitlisted so we ended up adding 5 more chairs to our workshop just so we can fit as many as possible. During our 2 hours class, hosted from Poy and Rachelle, everyone was able to finish a flower and we all also gave one another suggestions on what Netflix show to watch while making the flowers.
